Vintage 1940's Gibson L-50 Archtop Guitar w/Case
Vintage 1940's Gibson L-50 Archtop Guitar
This vintage beauty absolutely plays like a dream, and that rich and warm vintage tone is nigh impossible to recreate with modern guitars. The previous owner of the guitar gigged with it regularly, and though it definitely looks like it's played on many a stage, it is in excellent structural condition! No cracks, the neck feels great, and the body has that classic checked lacquer look (as is common with these older models, the pickguard was removed at some point). The guitar at one point had modern Schaller tuning machines installed, and those were subsequently replaced with vintage style Kluson Deluxe machines. Back of headstock does have screw holes from Schaller machines. The previous owner said the guitar was a 1946 model, and that looks to be accurate as far as we can tell.
Ships with modern hardshell case.
