Product Overview

This bass is built on an okoume body in Sadowsky’s doublecut shape, mirrored for left-handed playing. Okoume gives it a warm, mahogany-like low end with clear definition on top. The high-polish solid black finish and chrome hardware look sharp on any stage, and this example weighs 8.9 lbs.

The roasted maple neck uses the Sadowsky Standard profile with a natural oil finish on the back for smooth, quick shifts. A pau ferro (morado) fingerboard holds 21 nickel-silver frets on a 12" radius. The 1.5" nut width and 34" scale give it a familiar, comfortable feel.
