Yamaha RS20MM Matteo Mancuso Signature Revstar - Vintage Sunburst
The Yamaha RS20MM Matteo Mancuso Signature Revstar is a production version of the custom guitar behind one of today’s most fluid, technically gifted players, now available at No Limit Guitar Co in Idaho Falls. DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary humbuckers and a chambered mahogany body deliver clear, dynamic tone that moves easily between jazz warmth and rock bite. It’s built for intermediate to professional players who prize articulation and touch.
Product Overview
The body pairs a flamed maple top with a chambered mahogany back, finished in gloss Vintage Sunburst. Yamaha’s Acoustic Design chambering reduces weight and adds open resonance; this example weighs just 7.4 lbs. All-gold hardware and a cream 3-ply pickguard complete the elegant look.
A set-in, 3-piece mahogany neck with carbon reinforcement stays strong and stable, with a satin finish for smooth, fast movement. The rosewood fingerboard has a 12" radius and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets on a 24-3/4" scale. Mancuso’s logo inlay at the 12th fret and his signature on the truss rod cover mark it as his official model.
The DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary pickups use a gentler magnetic pull, letting strings sustain longer and respond to every nuance of your attack. A 5-way switch adds subtle phase-shifted in-between sounds in positions 2 and 4. The push-pull tone knob engages Yamaha’s Focus Switch, a passive circuit that thickens the mids and lows for a more aggressive, overwound-style tone.

- Matteo Mancuso fans looking for an authentic signature model built to his specs

Key Features
DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary Pickups
Based on vintage PAF specs, these humbuckers offer long sustain and an expressive, open response. They reward dynamic playing with detailed, articulate tone.
Chambered Body with Acoustic Design
Yamaha’s chambering process trims weight while enhancing resonance and natural sustain. The result is a well-balanced, comfortable guitar.
Focus Switch and 5-Way Switching
The Focus Switch adds a passive boost with fuller mids and lows. The 5-way selector includes two phase-shifted in-between settings for unique, fresh tones.
Carbon-Reinforced Mahogany Neck
Carbon reinforcement adds stiffness and stability to the 3-piece mahogany neck. It helps the neck hold its setup through seasonal changes.
Stainless Steel Frets and Locking Tuners
Jumbo stainless frets give smooth bends and long life. Locking tuners keep the guitar stable and make string changes faster.
